COVID-19 Response at Friday Harbour

Like many of you, we continue to monitor the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation on a daily basis and want to emphasize that this challenging situation has our undivided attention. We are committed to doing all we can to ensure everyone at Friday Harbour feels safe.

We have increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing across the Resort and have brought in additional stock of cleaning supplies to ensure we maintain the increased cleaning/sanitization schedule.

  • General Resort Operations

In the interest of reducing the number of people at the Resort and encouraging social distancing, many Friday Harbour Associates are working off-site.

STAYING SAFE AT FRIDAY HARBOUR

As more of our community is working from home, we have seen an increase in people enjoying being outside, strolling the Boardwalk and exploring the Nature Preserve. While doing so, even though outdoors, it is important to still adhere to the social distancing guidelines of at least 2m/6ft from others.

We ALL have a responsibility to do our part in keeping our community safe and healthy. It is critical that you are following the recommended protective hygiene protocols to mitigate the risk of spreading the illness

      • Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
      • Use hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available
      • Cough into your elbow
      • Stay a safe distance (recommended at 2 metres) from others

Stay updated with local and regional information

Thank you for the continued support of Friday Harbour. We will continue to communicate updates on a regular basis during this trying time. We wish you continued good health.

Sincerely,

The Friday Harbour Resort Association
